A jar of Mr. Jam Man strawberry, grape and apple jam on a wooden board, with a teaspoon, a loaf of bread and a block of butter
Jar, spoon, bread, butter. That is the entire plan.

How it's made

A jar of Mr. Jam Man jam on a wooden board next to a mound of sticky rice on a banana leaf and a small bowl of coconut cream, with the words Great with sticky rice and cream
Serving suggestion, Bangkok edition: sticky rice, coconut cream, jam. Trust us.

The jar

Every jar is individually sourced and reused. No two are quite the same, and that's the point. It isn't thrift; it's part of how we make things. Good jam, in a jar that's already had a life, made at home.

A reused jar can look a little worn on the outside, but every one is sterilised before filling: washed in the dishwasher, then baked in the oven along with its lid, and filled while still hot. Old jar, clean start.

Close to our hearts

This is not-for-profit. If the jam makes you want to give something back, these two London hospital charities mean a great deal to us:

Keeping it

Keep refrigerated. This batch was made on 28 August 2026; unopened, it's best before 28 February 2027.

Once opened, consume within 3 weeks and use a clean spoon.

Discard it if you see mould, bubbling or fizzing, the lid bulges, or it develops an alcoholic, fermented or otherwise unusual smell. Don't scrape mould off jam — discard the whole jar.
